Bring a friend/loved one or come on your own, many did last time and made new friends over a cup of tea and cakes, served on mismatched Vintage China.
If you like the idea of sitting closely next to strangers, then this is for you. As Katie says in her review you could be sat next to a complete ‘Nutter’ but if my previous guests are anything to go by you will be sharing a table in one of two rooms, with some very interesting people indeed.

Strawberry Cake filled with Strawberries and Whipped Fresh Cream topped with a layer of fresh Strawberries which have been marinated in Raspberry Vinegar
Yorkshire Tea Loaf (the Currants, Sultanas and Raisins will be soaked overnight in tea) served with Wensleydale Cheese -it’s a Yorkshire thing to serve Cheese with Fruit cakes.
French Meringue Macaroons with a Butter Cream filling.
Buttermilk Scones served with
Rhodda’s Clotted Cream and Strawberry Jam
A selection of Yorkshire Teas and La Bottega Milanese Coffee
Suggested Donation £12 per person to be paid on the day.
No Alcohol will be served. Underground Tea Rooms don’t have a licence.
Dress code: Comfortable with an elastic waistband.
